Gabriel Senior :

a student from Leighton Park Secondary, can soon be seen on the big screen at The EastEnd Film Festival. Gabriel was cast in CONTAINMENT. A new independent thriller written by David Lemon & directed by Neil West.

Gabriel stars alongside Lee Ross, Sheila Reid and Andrew Leung. Cast as NICU, Sergei’s younger brother initially appears to live in a world of his own. He does not speak, but those watchful eyes take in everything; from the escalating tension between the hazmats and residents to his older brother’s growing capacity for violence.

This release follows a US theatrical release of Desert Dancer. A biographical film directed by Richard Raymond. It tells a true story of a young, self-taught dancer in Iran, Afshin Ghaffarian, who risked his life for his dream to become a dancer despite a nationwide dancing ban.

Gabriel plays the lead role of Afshin as a child. Filmed in Morocco, this first feature film experience for Gabriel has added to his desire to work within the film industry. Gabriel began performing at The Henley Youth Festival, where he created an outstanding performance of Michael Jackson songs. He now attends Leighton Park as on a DRAMA scholarship where he has the opportunity to work on short films, productions and his musical talents.
