Escapade Media has secured an exclusive deal with newly formed Mermaid Pictures for two of their development titles; including Deadly Messages (8 x 60’), a new cosy crime series.  Escapade will be launching both returnable series at MIPCOM next month. 

Deadly Messages. Written by Omar Khan (Hollyoaks, The Dumping Ground and The Break, directed by Jo Southwell (Call the Midwife, Doctors, Deirdre and Echo). 

This 8-part returnable crime series follows the sleuthing skills of Pushpa Babbar, a former Delhi detective, now UK social media icon, who cracks cold cases uncovered online, using her unique blend of eastern instincts and western methods.
